INTRODUCTION
Kilosa Kwetu Trading Ltd was established in 2019 stimulated by Government’s favourable environment on omission of VAT & Withholding Tax on Gold Exportation. This favoured many business to export gold including our company contributing to foreign exchange and economy growth.
The name Kilosa Kwetu originated from one of our customer, a small scale miner who was selling gold to us for long period of time who came from Kilosa - Morogoro.
Kilosa Kwetu Trading is a family business whose members has accumulated experience and honest in the mining industry over years.
Our business is highly recognized by our government as key player in gold trading business in Tanzania.

KILOSA KWETU TRADING LTD is a reputable and well-established gold dealer in Tanzania, with over three decades of experience in the gold and precious metals industry.
We have developed a strong nationwide footprint with more than ten gold buying offices strategically located across key gold-producing regions of Tanzania, allowing us to operate efficiently and remain closely connected to local markets.
Our operations are supported by a fully functional PML plant and an elution plant, while our refinery is currently under construction, reflecting our long-term commitment to value addition and industry growth.
At present, we engage in limited mining activities, with our primary focus on gold trading, processing, and refining.
Through our sister companies, we operate over 12 jewellery outlets, supported by our own tailor-made 3D jewellery design and manufacturing facility.
In addition to gold jewellery, we also trade in Tanzanite, ruby, diamonds, and other precious gemstones, enabling us to offer a diverse and high-quality product portfolio.
